After day 1 of divisionals, the Trojans were in 2nd place to hosts Pitman HS by 2 points and had 6 of their 11 wrestlers still in championship and 4 in consolation. (Note: we qualified 13, but one quit and one sustained a concussion during the week, so 11 traveled to Turlock for the tournament). These 10 were guaranteed top 8 placement and a trip to Masters next week, the last stop before the California State Wrestling tournament in Fresno March 3-4.
