DAY 1:
Going into the 3rd round, we have 7 guys 2-0, on the brink of securing an invitation to state or dropping to consolation bracket and the battle tomorrow to fight for a spot. Our other 3 guys are alive in consolation. 
After 3rd round:
Jared Horstman (120), Jackson Redhair (138) & AJ Bicocca (195) have secured their invitation to STATE!!!!
6/7 of the others are still alive in consolation and going to day 2....a very successful first day of Masters!!

Day 2:
Conso round 1
For this round, it is win or go home. For the seniors, a loss means the end of their high school wrestling careers. If you win, you're in the top 8, but must win one more to make it to state. There is a lot at stake and emotions are running high on both sides.
1. Max loss
2. Mikey. Behind in points & on his back in a cradle in the 3rd period. Escaped, took down & got back points to win!!
3. Ricky Mello beat Alex Oliveira from Turlock 4-3. They have met twice before this season, and this is the first time Ricky has won, when it really mattered!
4. Jack Santina loss
5. Bobby Mello loss
6. Kaden West loss
Day 2 round 2
Jared is in finals!!
Mikey & Ricky are also going to state!!
Jared won semifinals after having a takedown debated between officials & coaches at length. The decision was made that he had a takedown in the last seconds of his match. He's going to the finals!
Mikey won a very close match and is in the top 6, will wrestle next to see if he's going for 3rd or 5th.
Jackson lost in semis in OT, 3-1. He's in conso & wrestles next to decide if he goes for 3rd or 5th.
Ricky won another close match and is going to state!!
AJ was up 2-0 against Nemo Chapman (ranked 9th in state). In the last seconds of the match, Nemo got a reversal and then won in OT. AJ drops to consolation and has 2 more matches. 
Day 2 round 3 (Conso only)
This round would decide if our 4 Trojans in consolation would go for 3rd or 5th place.
1. Mikey Mello won 3-2; going for 3rd.
2. Jackson Redhair won 5-3; going for 3rd.
3. Ricky Mello lost; wrestled next for 5th place.
4. AJ Bicocca lost 11-7 and is in the 5/6 match.
